As it sits now:

I got this Jeep as a gift from my parents. They never drove it and called me up one in July or August 2007 and said to come get it before they donated it. It had about 19,600 miles on it at that point.
When I picked it up, it looked like this:

Right off the bat I had issues. The windows were literally rotting off the top, the tires were rotting off and the brake lines were ROTTED. The light switch was on the fritz and the PCM got worse and worse as the days got colder, eventually even crapping out on me while I was driving home from the middle of nowhere in southern Virginia.
I replaced the stock wheels and tires (yes, original 1995 tires) with a set of JK wheels and tires (used an adapter kit) for about $250
I also got a 'cab' top to use. I don't typically bring more than one person with me anywhere EVER, so having no back seat in the winter isn't that big of a deal.

Eventually, I had an issue with those JK wheels on the Adapters and decided that they were a bad idea. Sold the wheels and bought some Cragars. I reused the tires as they had about 2k miles on them.

Then.. I got the itch.. nay, the desire, to paint my rig OD Green.
First I stripped out the carpet in the truck and sprayed it. Then I sprayed the inside of the tailgate to test the OD Paint.

Then, once I decided that I liked the OD color, I went all out:

Piece by piece I painted the parts that had lots of tape off items, and then I painted the body:

I've added some bar grips, painted the rest of the floor with bedliner, painted the front and rear bumpers and undersprayed the entire Jeep.
I added a pioneer stereo and an adapter for my phone so I can listen to the music on it and via streaming internet radio. I recently added a CB with Mirror mount antenna, hardwired a power inverter, installed new speakers in the dash and in the sound bar, new custom "Jeep" logos in flat black, MilitaryJeepers.com decals, custom headliner webbing storage space in the cab, and I am replacing ALL of my stock braking equipment in about a week or two.

Lots of stuff in the future. Since this vehicle was FREE I plan on keeping it as long as possible. With that comes the desire to install a big motor, transmission and a big lift. Lots of things that I want to do.

I'm looking for a 2.5 exhaust and a steering stabilizer for the YJ.

Thanks for looking.

Cool Jeep. Have you been offroading in it?

Not really, there are still a few nagging issues here and there. The brakes and exhaust are the main issues I have right now, but I also need to look into new axles and probably new suspension here in the near future. Debating on just getting rid of it for a more reliable car w/less headaches though.

Put a new exhaust on it.

I was recently in an accident. A lady spun out in front of me on the highway.
