And yes...the site used to be rather large and I used to have a gallilion and one posts that I am now going to do everyting I can to get back! I was even member number 3 (cause Chris and Chris were 1 & 2 when the site was still "hidden") haha

Well, if it was a good site back then, I am sure it will pick back up and become a good site again...just glad I can be a part of it now! Unfortunately I won't be at this coming meet as I am still in Afghanistan, but I will make it next year for sure!

The military is a good life style though, great benefits...kind of a crappy place to raise a family if you deploy too much...but worth the retirement!

Exactly my reasons for not continuing.. I have two daughters, and they absolutely HATED it when I was away for drill when I was in the Reserves. I got off Active 15 days before the oldest was born, so she doesn't fully understand it either. I travel for my current job once or twice a year for a week or two at a time, and they can't stand that either :cray:

We're slowly rebuilding our population, that virus hit us pretty hard. We've had more activity in the past few weeks and hope to build upon that

I hear you on that....I have been single my whole time, but I am engaged now, and that has made this deployment that I am on right now the hardest for me out of all of them. I am sure it would be even more difficult for me if I had kids.
