The other night I am sound asleep when I get woke up by a loud explosion and our IDF alarm going off! Shit, we haven't been hit in so long, I guess we were due! After hanging out in the bunkers for 45 minutes we finally get the "all clear" and I head back to bed. So, when I go into the TOC in the morning, I ask what's up, because when we get hit, it is usually by more than just one round. Come to find out, it was an ACF dude putting an IED in down the road from our FOB...guess he connected the wrong wires, LOL! Needless to say, there is one less bad guy out there putting in IED's!!!!
