i think ive reached that point in my life, when im tired of driving a modded car. let me explain.

remember when you were younger, and you didnt care if your car was lowered, had an exhaust, had a loud snail, or the paint wasnt perfect, but it didnt matter because you could slide the shit out of any corner, or tear through mustangs? back when you didnt care that your car had no ac, or power windows or locks? well ive come to the point in my life where im tired of the racecar phase. ive been doing so much driving lately, and ive started college, and im just tired of no having a car that isnt practical.

my s13 is nice by any nissan standards, it has ac and all power options, and its really clean. however, its lowered, has an hks exhaust, and has low profile tires. i drive a little under an hour to get to school, (like 40 minutes) 3 times a week, i drive a half hour to work, i drive about an hour to play ball every wednesday, the list keeps going. i love the car, but even when i drove from california to GA i was tired of being in a uncomfortable sport coupe.

so im really thinking about selling or trading it, and moving on. also at 23, i dont feel like i should be driving a 240 anymore. not saying that the whole idea is "for kids" but i just feel like ive outgrown that phase, and its not fulfilling to drive thi kind of car anymore. ive always wanted a wrx wagon, or a s4 avant, but ive been thinking about getting a gs300 too, and just putting nice wheels on it with good fitment and calling it a day. when im out of school and have a good job ill get another racecar to keep in the garage you know, but for now im just tired of it.

reponses?

Sounds like you are ready for a Viper. :crazy_pilot:

You are never to old to own a nice car and mod it...just my thoughts. BUT, practicality should play a role...if you only have one car, then make it what you need on a day to day basis.

For me, i'm just taking a few year hiatus from modding. i still love cars and racing but losing the evo put a big damper on it for me. i now have car thats really nice and factory fast. maybe in a few years when we're more financially sound i'll start up again. i would love to find a 70's mopar to work on very slowly by then.

I can't leave anything stock. I'd go crazy without modding.

Even our DD (GMC Yukon) got mudflaps and running boards immediately.:crazy_pilot:

I can kind of relate to you there snow, but in the end, I find myself always wanting to do stuff to my vehicles. I would like to have a really nice DD that's quick and comfortable that I don't NEED to mod though... I'm sure that in the long run, I'd end up with something new under the hood or on the outside though lol

im not saying i dont want to mod my car, but i dont want a "modded" car. or maybe a better wayto explain, i want a nice modded car.

something vip would be nice.

the str8 would be ROWDY

maybe just a sti on coils and only stage 1.

tired of all my money going to cars and the like.

I've long since accepted that a lot of my time and money will be invested in vehicles. I haven't had a car payment in a while and I'm not really looking forward to that again, but at the same time, I can't WAIT to get another car!!

Let me just all the SRT-8 vehicles aside from the Jeep have become very affordable. There's a Magnum at a local dealer for 22k. Thats a steal and a half for that car!

Oh and trust me it's ripping me apart inside that I can't do anything to the 300

I find that subtle mods on some of the SRT8's, and they look fantastic! Then you can just leave it and have a nice car with nice power!!!
