And then I got bored of how the front end looked, so I did a '02 swap on the front fascia. I personally think the '02 bumpers look the greatest, among all the Neon years.

Of course, the Chrysler Grille. Bought it from a forum member on 2GN.org who lives in Canada. They seem to like our Dodge ones, and we seem to like their Chrysler ones. Works out nice =)

Currently have a set of stock, folding side-mirrors that I will be turning in for paint, got a set of MM Inserts on their way, and retro headlights being built and finished up hopefully within the next week. The front end is painted now, just waiting till I get my mirrors complete and my retros. Then I'll be taking updated pictures.

Any comments, feedbacks, suggestions, or haters are welcome :)

Thanks man. There's a bunch of random work I've done to the car. Not a lot of guys tint their own taillights with tint spray, but I did (NiteShade from modernperformance.com). My side markers I wired to blink with my signals. et cetera...

Thanks man. The motor is stock :( I'm going to be getting out of the Marines soon, and I gotta budget my money elsewhere. I was so hoping to get it boosted after I got back from this last deployment, but if I didn't owe so much on damn thing... (ya, boot little me 3 years ago jumped into the big pool of high-interest rates). But to answer your question, I believe the brochure says 130HP lol.

Thanks man :) Appreciate it. Means a lot after all the work I've done to it. The most common expression I get is the dumb-founded look as they try and figure what my car is lol.

*UPDATE*

So today I'll be dropping my folding stock side mirrors off at the paint shop (guy is hooking me up for no charge). Then all I got left is my retros. Can't wait for those to come in.

Here's a another picture of my painted front bumper. Still waiting to get more stuff put on to get better pictures. Just feel like keeping everyone waiting. The only other thing I may snag is an SRT-4 hood from my buddy since he got a Kaminari one for his SRT-4.

Anyway, here she is. And just fyi, in the picture you'll see how my eyelids don't fit flush on the headlamps. Those projectors are eBay POS, but the retros I got being built right now will be able to have the eyelids sit flush.

Was having some issues with the halo rings on the retros after washing the car. Couldn't figure out why the damn light was flickering on/off. Then it stayed on, but was dimmer than the other one. Then when I decided "fuck it, I'll just take some pictures real quick." it was bright... like it's literally doing it's own thing. Now, as of this morning, half the ring lights up. I had a similar issue with my eBay projectors, so I don't know if it's something to do with the engine bay wire harness? If someone's had an issue similar to this, please share... it's pretty mind-boggling.

Front end all done up :) Oh, and yes the paint is chipping. Brought it to the paint guy and showed him. "it's not supposed to be doing that." Said that I can bring it back to him to get it redone, but it'll be a little while till I do that. That big chunk in the center of the bumper, I was trying to pressure wash some bug splatter off and it just ripped the whole paint off right there :banghead: oh well.

Pillar gauges. Nothing new except that my oil pressure gauge, for some reason, lost it's color. The light blue isn't a light blue anymore, it's a... iono. Purple-ish blue. Happened after I got my tires changed. Don't ask me how that works out, but yea... Pretty upset.

So that's about it. She's fairly done, as far as exterior mods. What I've done to her since I've been back from Afghanistan were:

Stock folding side mirrors (color-matched)
Front bumper & lip painted
Retro-fit headlights install
Brand new tires (Nitto 450's, 205/55/15)

Things I will be doing this upcoming weekend (weather permitting):

Color-match fog deletes
Repaint eyelids, and install
Attempt install of MM Inserts

Nothing else for the car for a while. Getting out of the Marine Corps, so I gotta watch my spending. Don't want to jump into the civilian world with no dough.

Funny you say that, I'm not a Jeep person, never have been either...I just love the SRT8, I don't really consider it a Jeep, LOL!

Thanks man. I appreciate it. Really puts a smile on my face now that all my work is really startin to show. Now I'm just cleanin things up, here and there. Making it look more cleaner and factory looking. Ordered some stock Neon "Oh-Shit" bars that I'm going to install, got some eBay front/rear strut bars (eBay or not, they do their job, right? lol $50 eBay front/rear strut bars will probably do just as well as a $200/piece strut bar), some MM inserts, and some other things I can't think of right now. In the future I want to upgrade my suspension by getting some coilovers, sway bars, and upgraded bushings. Then, perhaps, I'm going to turbo one day. But don't want to deal with that right now :(

Try looking around a few junk yards for parts... Ya never know. you might get lucky and find a treasure or six that you can pick up for cheap....
